The best way to reach us is through the community discussions on this site. That's where readers report outdated app info, suggest players we've missed, and ask questions about video formats and streaming apps.

What to include

When you post, include the app name, your phone model, and what you're trying to do — it makes answering much faster. A report like "VLC 3.5 on a Pixel 8 won't play my MKV with DTS audio" gets a useful answer; "video doesn't work" doesn't.

What we can and can't do

We read every report and update the guides when apps change features or pricing. Reader tips have caught outdated download links, renamed apps, and features that quietly moved behind paywalls. If you spot something wrong, say so — it helps everyone.

We don't run a support desk and can't troubleshoot individual devices, but the community threads are a good place to ask other users — someone has usually hit your exact problem before.

If you've found a genuinely good video app that isn't covered here, the discussions are where to tell us about it. We check suggestions against our three criteria (legal, genuinely free, actually good) before adding anything to the guides. We also welcome corrections: if a download link broke, an app changed its name, or a feature moved behind a paywall, a quick report in the discussions gets it fixed.

Please don't post in the discussions expecting one-on-one tech support for your device — the community can help with common issues, but anything specific to your phone's setup is better taken to the app's own support channels or forums. Bug reports that belong to the app developers (crashes, account problems, billing) should go directly to them, not here.
